Scrooge is a miserable, ominous character. He is described as solitary as an oyster meaning he is isolating and neglected by other people. Shows his loneliness and the pain. He has no sympathy for others too, Described as. 'Sharp as a flint'.

Ebenezer Scrooge
Scrooge's family like his nephew Fred loves to celebrate Christmas. He worship and thanks God for the lovely holidays. He is very religious just like the Victorian Era, everyone is very religious back then.
Mr Birling
Mr Birling's family like Sybil Birling is very discriminative and has less sympathy for the death of Eva Smith. Sheila on the other hand, learns a lesson from Goole that you will be taught in fire and anguish if you don't show empathy for the death of Eva.

Mr Birling
Mr Birling is discriminative because of the social class divide in the Edwardian Era. He fires Eva Smith for asking for a higher pay.
Ebenezer Scrooge
He treats the poor unfairly, like the Cratchits. Does not show love or Christmassy spirit.

He represents the rich person in the Victorian Era who shows inequality to the poor and does not get into the Christmas Spirit. He learns a lesson of repentance and spends a lovely time with the Cratchits and Fred. He changes his way.
