Reinstate the context- the witness should mentally go back to the crime scene and think about the environment.weather feelings etc.
Reverse the order- prevents dishonesty, schema will provide expectations of what should have happened rather than what actually happened
Different perspective- provides different point of view, may cause cues to trigger other memories
