AFL -- the australian rules for football, the sport is played with an oval ball between two teams of eighteen players on a large oval-shaped field, with the aim of the game to kick the ball through the two tallest goal-posts which are set at either end of the ground.

Cricket -- is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field, it is the most popular australian sport.

Ash barty – ash barty is an Australian tennis player icon, born and raised in aueensland, Australia. she had been ranked #1 in the world but retired this year as of march 2022.

Steve Irwin – steve Irwin aka (the crocodile hunter) was an Australian icon, he was a zookeeper at the Australian zoo and even owned it, but unfortunately met his untimely end in 2006.

Shane warne – shane warne was an inter national Australian cricket player, whos carrer lasted all the way from 1991 to 2022 due to his unfortunate passing, he truly was an Australian icon in sports.

famill gatherings -- in australia family's are very connected and often have large gatherings to celebrate even the smallest of things
