The four marks of the Church includes, one, holy, apostolic and catholic. The church is one as the Holy Spirit works to unite all members by gifting responsive baptised believers with Charity and Faith. The gift of faith to believe in and worship of God through, Eucharist and the sacraments, the Apostle's creed and Church's Magisterium. The church is holy for 2 reasons. Jesus its head is holy and the holy spirit whom Christ shares within is holy. Members are able to draw on the strength and the holiness of Jesus and the Spirit, the gifts of the sacraments and empower believers to grow in holiness, develop spiritual gift through sacraments to keep God's laws and to become holy as God is holy. The church is catholic in a double sense as catholic means universal and so wherever Jesus is, the Catholic Church is there too.
