Depth of Field - Creates a camera focus like affect, allowing you to focus on objects in the foreground and blurring the objects in the background.

HUD and UI
Icons - These allow you to represent objects as icons. This is mainly used for UI specifically in inventory systems. This also declutters the scene more.

Player Guiding - Positioning, highlighting and changing the art of the objects in a way to allow the player to know where to go and to be guided around the game.
Powerups and rewards - Visually showing when you get rewards and powerups and having art to tell the difference between these. This allows the player to play the game with ease.
