Advantages
The bigger part of the country - the northern parts, the northern east and the central area are in the Humid Continental climate. They are cold, with no dry season and warm summer.
In winter, snow is common which gives the country a ski season. In summer the mountains have temperatures between 10 and 18 degrees, which makes them pleasant for hikes.
The southern past of Croatia is in the Mediterranean climate. It is classified as a temperate climate, with dry, hot summers.
This climate brings Croatia a lot of precipitation which is helpful for agriculture. Also, summers are pleasant for beach trips.
Disadvantages
The western part of the country is in humid subtropical climate, which has n dry season and hot summer. The climate is temperate.
In this climate zone, floods can happen often.
Small parts of the southern part of Croatia are in the warm-summer Mediterranean climate zone. They classify with temperate climate and dry warm summer.
In this climate zone, only a few animals and plants can survive the dryness in the climate.
