To test if you lean towards a more monochronic or polychronic time orientation, you can use the Monochronic – Polychronic Scale, coined by Dodd, C.H. (1998). Dynamics of intercultural communication, 5th edn, McGraw-Hill, p. 265.)
Although this classification may seem more appropriate at the individual level Dodd classifies American, British, Canadian and German cultures as largely monochronic, while she classifies Latin American, African, Middle Eastern and Southern European cultures as largely polychronic (Dodd 1998:88)
