✨social engineering✨
✨brute force attacks✨
✨normal/distributed denial of service attacks✨
NDoSAs are where someone or a bot sends many rando requests and unnecessary packets to a server, with the intention of slowing it down or stopping it from functioning by overloading it with random data, while DDoSs are where someone takes control of many devices to send many more requests at the same time.
✨data interception + theft✨
✨SQL injections✨
✨identifying vulnerabilities✨
✨penetration testing✨
Attempting to break into a piece of your own software to find ways to improve it.
✨firewalls✨
Software that you install on your device to stop unwanted things like viruses from entering your computer.
✨anti-malware software✨
Safeguards data and prevents people like cyber-criminals and hackers from accessing it.
✨passwords✨
Passwords should be long, with symbols, upper and lower case letters, and numbers.
✨user-access levels✨
How much data you can access in whatever situation you're in depending on how important/high-up you are in that thing, for example a business - normal, senior, executive, boss, etc.
✨physical security✨
Random people shouldn't have access to something like a password for someone's account on a computer, just because they've left it on a note by their computer, etc.
✨encryption✨
Encoding data which can only be read with a key (form of protection from unwanted visitors/viewers).
