Good politics (SINA)
-
Apparent sincerity: seeming to be honest, open

Organisational Politics: a variety of activities associated with the use of influence tactics to improve personal or organizational interests.
Used immorally when the intention is to create conflict and violate the moral code (e.g. backstabbing, dishonesty, bullying, spreading untruths)
Used morally when managing conflict and developing the organisational environment (e.g. co-operation, networking, alliance building, mentorship)
Both of the above are in self-interest, so acting in self-interest is not necessarily immoral

Power can be used to benefit others (socialised power), but also for personal gain (personalised power)

No intention to harm, but no effort to avoid it (e.g. chocolate company not high quality can cause health problems, but they don’t do anything to avoid it)
Immoral: intention to harm, justified or not (e.g. moral disengagement)
Machiavelli
