By 1964, with the arrival of their fourth son, Edward of Wessex, Elizabeth and Philip had formed a consolidated family whose firstborn, Prince Charles, had begun his training as heir to the throne. Instead, the one the Queen was always truly proud of was her son Andrew, who served in the British Armed Forces during the Falklands War.
