Measures of Bivariate Regression and Correlation Statistics
They are those that determine the relationship between teo quantitative variables and the mathematical model associated with the realtionship between the chosen variables can be interpreted.
Regression
it allows describing the relationship between two or more quantitative variables.
Variable Types
Independent or Regressor Variables.
Are they used as predictors or are confounding variables that are of interest to control.
Dependent Variable
Attributes about which we want to measure changes or make predictions.
Correlation
Measures and indicates the degree and values of a variable as it relates to another variable.
Correlation Types
Positive Correlation
It occurs when there is a proportional relationship between both variables.
Negative Correlation
Occurs when the behavior of one variable is different from the other.
Null Correlation
There is no kind of behavior between both variables.
Simple Regression
It is when the variable Y depends only on a single variable.
Múltiple Regressión
It is when the variable Y depends on several variables on the X.
