Development of an incident reporting system to be used routinely in all facilities (including identification of errors/incidents and documented actions taken to address the individual incident and prevent future ones from occurring)
Monitoring of compliance to a set of evidence-based guidelines and protocols for patient safety priorities ( ex. hand hygiene, falls, needle sticks, medication errors)
Assurance of basic and effective infection control procedures at all levels of health care.
Promote training in Patient Safety at undergraduate and post graduate level
