Overall, the Little Rock was of monumental significance for the black American civil rights movement. The reason for this is that overall the positive effects such as having the authority of the president on their side outweighed the negative effects such as them moving too quickly. This meant that most places would want to agree with the president to not earn a bad reputation and with them going too fast could easily have been slowed down or brought back a step to ensure they weren’t rushing. Therefore, this shows that Little Rock was of monumental significance for the black American civil rights movement.
