- - - - God planted the Garden of Eden, which was created for Adam and Eve to take care of and enjoy.
        
        Adam and Eve had the freedom to eat of any tree in the garden except for The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. which God told them that the day that they eat of it they will die.
        
        After being tempted by the serpent(the devil in disguise, Adam and Eve, in an attempt to be like God themselves, ate of the tree. They were immediately ashamed. Because of their sin, God expelled them from the garden and cursed the ground so that it would be hard work to farm it, and for the woman, she would have pain in childbirth.
        
        God promised that he would send a Messiah to save humanity from their sin to be reunited with God. This Messiah would crush the serpent's head and the serpent would bruise his heal.
