Substantive employement:
Substantive conditions of employment would be what constitutes and employment and provided that the particulars of employment are provided to an employee in a contract of employment or a payslip, then that satisfies that he employee is indeed an employee and qualify for the conditions of employment.
When drawing up a contract Full name and address of the employer, Name and occupation of employee, places of work, date of commencement of employment, ordinary hours/days of work, wage/salary/rate and the calculations in this regard, overtime tares, other payments if any and their breakdown, remuneration frequency, deductions, leave entitlement, termination of contract notice periods, any governing sectoral determination, continuation of service/tenure from another employer which would count towards the period of employment, all other listed documents and their location for the employee to access are required to be satisfied as a requirement of employment..
