Australia along with many other countries are very democratic and therefore have a very fixed set of values. This includes our freedoms such as freedom of speech, assembly and movement, equality and justice. To uphold these values, we must be goof global citizens and share the knowledge that Australia as a democratic country has. To be a good global citizen Australia must be open and willing to engage in international action to advance the wellbeing and stability of nations. Australia is also obliged to be good global citizens because of its high levels of wealth and democracy. It is expected of us to share our wealth and knowledge with undeveloped countries. We do this by, signing treaties, joining international organisations, foreign aid and peacekeeping.
