How do Organisms get their energy?
Cellular Respiation
Anaerobic Respiartion
Goes through glycolysis
Goes through the krebs cycle
Goes through the ETC
Aerobic Respiration
Goes through glycolysis
Goes through fermentation
Photosynthesis
Photo part
Light energy is absorbed
Water is split
ATP is made
Systems part
Carbon is absorved
Glucose is made
ATP is used
Feedback loops
Positive feedback loops
Increases the amount of something
Negative feedback loops
Balances out the positive feeback loop
Food chains
Producers
Are mostly plants and make their own food from energy from the sun
Primary consumers
Consumers that eat the plants like grasshoppers
Secondary Consumers
Consumers that eat the primary consumers to get their energy like birds
Tertiary consumers
Consumers that eat the secondary consumers to get their energy like snakes
Apex predators
Apex predators are at the top of the food chain and they eat all the secondary and tertiary consumers like eagles.
