SOUL
forms:
-
the theory of forms was created as an idea by Plato to explain where the immortal soul will and does remain
what are forms
they are a perfect formation or template of everything on earth, they are internal and exist on a different plane of undrestanding
Plato believed that the soul was immortal and is passed down through generations of people throughout time into our mortal bodies.
Reincarnation

cave:
It is an analogy used by Plato to show the ignorance of humans and the possibilities the world has to offer, that we are such simple beings that we cannot and often choose not to be enlightened like Plato was.
We humans are existing in the cave oblivious and being easily manipulated and accepting of false truths presented by our senses and are unable to comprehend the extent of the real truths of the world.
