Para: 3

This whole discussion results in debates about the relationship between 'Jesus of history' & 'Christ of Faith' or between 'Pre-Easter Jesus' & 'Post Easter-Jesus'.
An issue is that we can't know about the 'historical Jesus' due to all of the gospels & new testaments being written after the resurrection.
It doesn't look like Jesus was to nervous not to identify himself with the priestly or Davidic notions of the Messiah.
It is very obvious that Jesus' vision of the Kingdom of God is very different to the Jewish expectation of the Kingdom of God.
There are numerous incidents in the gospels where Jesus is portrayed to identify himself as the Messiah.
Although it seems like Jesus was anxious at this time, he was actually miss-understood by his followers.
Para: 2
Another example Jesus being aware of him as the messiah would be found in 'Mark 14:3', where we read about Jesus being anointed by an unidentified women.
During this anointment the women recognised Jesus as the Messiah. It occurred when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of 'Simon The Leaper'.
As Jesus sat at the table he was approached by a women carrying an alabaster jar of the precious 'Ointment of Nard'.

Despite of this Jesus defended her by saying "she has done what she could, she has anointed my body beforehand for its burial".
