In my opinion, federal holidays are a great way to remember and commemorate events. It allows people to never forget and to keep learning more about them, year after year.

I think parades are kind of a silly way to commemorate a historical event. It undermines its importance.

Monuments are the perfect way to remember events. They're durable and can sometimes even attract tourists, leading to even more poeple knowing about the event and commemorating it.

Art and music are very original ways to remember events. Paintings become classical and songs can become popular and passed down from generation to generation.
