HISTORY
Ba Na Mountain is located in Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, about 25km southwest of the city center.
In April 1901, Captain Debay discovered that Ba Na had a relatively flat terrain and a pleasant cool climate.
In November 1911, the Governor-General proposed that Ba Na become a forestry reserve.
In 1997, Da Nang city invested in building Ba Na into a large-scale ecological area.
In 2009, Sun World Ba Na hills officially opened the Ba Na - Suoi Mo cable car route.
2020: Ba Na today has a new look, is the great pride of Da Nang tourism in particular and Vietnam tourism in general.
ARCHITECTURE
Setting foot on the top of Ba Na, at an altitude of nearly 1,500m above sea level
in June 2018, the Golden Bridge has been named "the most impressive pedestrian bridge in the world", "Top 10 most unique bridges in the world" and is considered a must-visit place when visiting Da Nang city.
Debay wine cellar is an extremely unique architectural work, dug deep into the mountain, 100m long, 2.5m high and about 2m wide.
French Village: It is an ideal place for those who are passionate about art, and also for fans of classical architecture.
A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES
Ba Na Hill is usually sunny at noon, so remember to bring a hat/hat and sunscreen
If you stay overnight in Ba Na Hill, you should bring a thin shirt to avoid colds.
