Periodic Table
The Dalton's atomic theory is: All matter is made up of tiny particles. The atoms in an element are all identical.
The Atomic structure is
-
Dalton's atomic theory has also been said that the atoms can not subdivide, created or destroyed. So all atoms are indistructable and indivisible.
What is an Atom?
Atoms are the building blocks of matter that make up everyday objects. They consists of protons, electrons and neutrons.
Protons are the positive charges and the tiny particles which exsist in the nucleus.
Electrons are the negative elctrical charge and travels around the nucleus of an atom.
Neutrons are the ones with no electrical charge and is a part of the nucleus.
-
A trend is when the movement of elements in the table changes from increasing to decreasing or decreasing to increasing.
A group in the periodic table is what's called a column in the periodic table of the chemical elements.
A period is the horizontal row in the periodic table and there are 7 periods with each one beginning at the far left.
A chemical change is a change where you CAN'T reverse(irreversible) it back to were it was before.
A physical change is a change where you CAN reverse it back to how it looked before.
Some Physicall properties are: Malleability, Density, Good conducter of heat and electricity, Melting point and the Boiling point..
Some Chemical properties are: Flammability, Acidity, Toxicity and Reactivity.
