Pathophysiology
Type 2 diabetes mellitus occurs due to cells and tissues the body is resistant to insulin. Consequently, they does not absorb glucose in the blood. this condition eventually causes an increase in blood sugar levels. In addition, type 2 diabetes can also occur as a result pancreatic cell dysfunction, i.e. inability produce enough insulin to overcome resistance.
