Job is to legislate, to make laws.
Congress
Bicameral- Two houses, a upper house and a lower house together they are called congress
House of Representatives
435 reps, two year terms, minimum age 25, can serve forever.
Senate
50 members, 2 per state, minimum age 30, 6 year terms, can serve forever
Executive Branch
Enforces the law. The largest branch, all law enforcement falls under the executive branch
Includes the president , vice president, presidential cabinet, and law enforcement
