EXPERIMENTAL METHODS

QUANTITATIVE METHODS - the process of colecting and analysing data through questionares, statistics, polls and surverys(numerical data)
doesnt explain opinions or actions, low response rate, easy to spot patterns and easy to analyse
QUALITATIVE METHODS - collecting and analysing non numerical data such as texts vidoes or audios to understand opinions, felings and experiences
time consuming,shows better understanding of epoples opinions
observations- face to face natural enviorment, can observe reaction and responses, wont miss anything
pressure on staff, can change to loo better, ethical issues
questionare- quick and easy, tell the how reserach and reposes will be used
low response rate, opinions and toughts not written, right t withdrawn
MULTI-METHODOLOGY data collected using qualitative and quantitative method to get more accurate results.
