Ancient Greece had a strict social hierarchy, they were divided based on socialism or classes into four classes, including the Athens (upper class) including male citizens in the government, soldiers, and other male citizens, Metics (middle class) including male children, Freedmen (lower class) including women, female children, who had far fewer rights, as did foreigners, and lastly, the slaves, they had harsh lives and no rights at all.
