A neuromuscular junction is a synaptic connection between the terminal end of a motor nerve and a muscle. When Skeletal muscles are stimulated by somatic motor neurons. This is when Axons travel from the central nervous system to skeletal muscle, so Axon branches end on muscle fiber to create a neuromuscular junction or motor end plate. Lastly, every muscle fiber has one neuromuscular junction with one motor neuron. The Neuromuscular Junction includes Axon, Synaptic cleft, Synaptic vesicles, motor end plate, mitochondria, & lastly Acetylcholine.
