      - To prevent fishing, you need to know what it looks like so you are able to stop it if it happens to you.
      - Does it look realistic?
      - If you have gotten an email saying you have won the lottery or got a prize it is probably too good to be true.
      - Don't put any personal information on an unsecure site such as bank details and addresses.
      - Look for poor grammar and misspelt words. If you are getting an actual email from a company, there will be a good format, correct use of grammar and formal sentences. However if you are getting a scam email it might be a bit sloppy and not very form
- - - - Firstly a predator, usually someone older than what they say, Starts chatting to a young person online over months to build a good relationship and trust, you both have the same hobbies, like the same clothes and live in the same country. They will then start to ask you very personal questions such as where you live, your school and your date of birth. Then you or them may ask to meet up, this is very dangerous but because you think you have gained their trust so you think it is 100% safe.
    - - The main way to prevent this happening to kids is to talk to them about what an on;line predator is. You should discuss how it happens, what it is and how to stop it. You should also talk to your Kids about how to identify it happens and when to stop talking online.
