FLIPPED CLASSROOM
FEATURES
As it states (Ruiz et al., 2014). This model is classified as a
blended learning rotation process, which means that it is a combination of face-to-face teaching with distance teaching.
A main characteristic of this model is that it is different in each classroom and has to have four foundations: F-L-I-P, an acronym for its
Flexible environment, Learning culture, Intentional content
and Professional teacher (Observatory of Educational Innovation, 2014; Hamdan,
2013).
Create many
opportunities to achieve a meaningful teaching-learning process, resulting in the center of attention
is the student (Ruiz et al., 2014).
This method benefits students because it respects the pace of learning of each student (Bergmann & Sams, 2012; Horn, 2013).

-
ADVANTAGE
Students can control the pace of their learning process, with the help of resources such as:videos, mental maps, audios, conferences and can repeat as many times as necessary at home
-
-
According to (Bergmann & Sams, 2012 p25.)Immediate feedback is very important so the teacher can do it immediately if the students have reviewed the class at home
-
An obligation of the students is to review the content at home, make summaries and notes, ask questions, this is necessary to improve the acquired content that the students achieved
-
-
-
As its name indicates, the flipped classroom means that what was traditionally done in class is now done at home and what was traditionally done as homework is now completed in class.
