Innate Immunity
Skin & mucosal membrane and barriers
If these barrier is penetrated; macrophages and neutrophils will engulf the foreign organism and kill them without need of antibodies
However, once the foreign organisms successfully penetrate, they will get nutrients from certain molecules that are found on the surface of epithelia, in secretions (sweat and saliva) and in the blood stream
Why?
Skin is very impermeable; stop the entry of organisms into body
