Based off my 5-10 career plan, there is a strong consideration for an additional degree. An additional degree without a doubt opens up opportunities for higher earning positions within my industry. A Masters degree relating to management of technology or business in technology will increase my chances of garnering director roles in tech. Even a degree in design will make my work/skillset more appealing. Certifications in my field would be a plus, but for time sake in advancing up the positional ladder it would take a combination of a significant amount of experience.
