A junta Central took over the government

the French army was still so powerful

they had to ally with the enemy

it led to the precarious French domination

Spanish army's first defeats

led to people forming guerrillas

they prepared surprise attacks against the enemy

this tactic played a key role in the victory of Spain

in 1814 the French army withdrew Spain

in 1812

the Junta Central met in Sevilla

they decided to held elections

they wanted to write a secret constitution

The only city without French control was Cadiz

they met there

they approved the constitution

Spanish fleet joined the French one

allowed French to enter Spain to occupy Portugal

Napoleon took advantage of that and occupied Spain
