Final Choice: Based on the evaluation of the two objects, the final object choice that will justify my argument is object 2. This object better represented the claim and the TOK concepts associated with it, as it brought out a strong justification for the use of technology in the process of technology, as well as how there is certainty that this acquisition would create a social divide. Therefore, one of the TOK concepts of the first claim (justification) is not strongly brought out by the object, while this is done effectively for object 2. Unlike object 1, the claim of object 2 was connected through the importance of technology, and for this reason, is the stronger object choice based on the evaluation of both pros and cons.
Real World Context: During the COVID-19 pandemic between 2020-2021, video calling platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom became popularised on a global scale, as these platforms were the only methods of continuing education. Therefore, students around the world used these platforms to access online education and continue schooling.
