Rule 131, Section 3 (jj), RoC.
Except for purposes of succession, when two persons perish in the same calamity, and there are no particular circumstances from which it can be inferred, and it is not shown who died first, the survivorship is determined from the probabilities resulting from strength and age of the sexes:
If both under 15y.o., the older survived
If both were above 60y.o., the younger survived.
If one is under 15y.o. and the other is above 60y.o., the younger survived.
If both are over 15 and under 60, with different sexes, the male survived; if sex is the same, the older survived.
If one is under 15y.o. or over 60y.o., and the other is between those ages, the latter survived.
