Good works (and thereby salvation) carried out through the ceremonies and sacraments of the church; critique of Reformed Predestination that emerges as an attack on Puritanism from a Conformed Perspective, and which views Calvinism in the Church of England (previously a mainstream, Conformed position) as the source of Puritan subversion. Emphasis on the continuity between the Church of England and the Church of Rome; though the Church of Rome is in error, it is not, in the Puritan sense, The Antichrist or the Whore of Babylon.
