Description Amphibians live in water slimy skin fish tails when young, good eyesight and hearing. Examples frogs, toads and salamanders
Porifera Description simple seawater animals have many holes in their bodies, and have holdfast to anchor them to rocks. Examples sponges.
Echinodermata Description Have a mouth and stomach and can push the stomach out of their mouth. Examples, starfish and sea urchins.
Nematoda Description looks like small white threads (need a microscope to see in detail). Can be free-living or parasitic. Examples round worms, hook worms.
Cnidaria Description water dwellers one opening in the body (mouth). Tentacles contain stinging cells. Examples are blue bottles and jelly fish.
Platyhelminthes Description flattened shape easy to swim and move. Free-living or parasites. Examples Flat worms, tape worms.
Annelida Description rings around body, live in moist habitats, by contracting and relaxing their bodies. Examples earth worms, leeches, red worms.
Mollusca Description ectothermic, well developed, soft bodies. Examples snails, clams, oysters, mussels, octopus, squid.
Arthropod Insects – beetle, fly, butterfly, moth, ladybird. Also arthropods have a exoskeleton external skeleton that supports and protects an animal's body.
Fishes Description ectotherms. Two chambered heart. Breathe through gills. Good vision. Examples tuna, eels, sea horses, sharks
Aves Description endotherms, dry oily feathers, most can fly.
Examples ducks, pigeons, flamingos,
Reptiles Description Ectotherms cold blooded, live on land, dry scales, small brains. Examples Snakes, turtles, and crocodiles.
Marsupials, Kangaroo, koala, wallaby and Tasmanian devil. They are born
in an immature state and complete development in a pouch.

Chordata phylum, These organisms have an endoskeleton. They have bilateral symmetry and a well developed brain.
Also there have two pairs of limbs and red blood.
