Population density is important because it can determine factors for urban planning and can show critical information between people and the environment.
Megacity

Megacities are important for urbanization and the economy for they are quite wealthy and have a big impact on the social and political aspects of the world.
An example of a megacity includes Tokyo, Japan which has a population of almost 14 million people.
Urban Planning
Examples of urban planning include roads, sewer systems, power grids, and much much more.
Urban planning affects infrastructure, transportation systems, and more. Without urban planning, cities and towns would be much less efficient and less appealing to people. Urbanization wouldn't be possible without urban planning because of how important it is.

Primate City
An example of a primate city is Paris, France. Paris is the biggest city in all of France with a population of around 2.2 million people. The second largest city in France is called Marseille which has a population of 816 thousand. Paris has at least twice the amount off people in Marseille making Paris a primate city.
Primate cities draw in people from rural areas and small towns because of their size and economic opportunity. The process of people moving to primate cities is an example of urbanization in itself.

Infrastructure
Examples of infrastructures include of transportation systems, water, school systems, sewage systems, and more.
Infrastructure is a large part of urbanization because you need it to create an urban area. Things like sewage systems, water, and transportation are a huge part of what makes an urbanized area efficient and effective. A city with lot's of infrastucture tends to have more economic opportunity which pulls people from rural and small towns in.

An example of a choke point is Bab el Mandeb which connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Eden and the Arabian Sea. It is 920 miles long and is a major trading route that many places use including Sudan, Jordan, Ethiopia, and more.
Choke points belong in the globalization and trade section because they are a vital part of world trade. Global supply chains are massively impacted by choke points for they make the global economy run smoothly. Crucial resources such as oil, money, and ideas pass through these points which make them a powerful thing for a country to control.
Container Ship
Container ships connect world trade and are a very important aspect of the global supply chain. They have a massive impact on merchandise being supplied all over the world. If a ship is delayed due to weather or technology malfunction, products might not be on shelves for weeks.
An example of a container ship is a type of ship called the Post-Suexmax which is a very large type of vessel with a carrying capacity of 18000 TEUs.
Definition- A container ship is a large cargo ship that contains merchandise that follows trade routes to support world trade.
Imports
Imports are important for globalization and trade for it allows countries to receive resources that they don’t have. Especially if there's scarcity of a product, you can receive imports that will help serve the high demand of that product.
Examples of imports include goods, services, money, and more. Billions of products are imported into the U.S. per year due to the high demand and scarcity of certain things.

Specialization
An example of specialization is a country that has access to a lot of wood. They could then specialize in producing furniture and wood materials because they have the resources to focus on producing that specific product.
Specialization is important for globalization and trade because it creates a more effective supply chain and makes the production of certain products increase.
Definition - Specialization is when a certain country focuses on what they are best at producing and then trades it with other countries.

Immigrant
Immigrants fall under the category of migration for they are moving somewhere else for a certain reason.

Refugees are in the migration category because it's an example of people moving to find a better/safer place to live.
Definition - A refugee is someone who leaves their country in fear to escape natural disasters, war, persecution, and other dangerous occurrences.
Asylum
Definition - Asylum is a form of protection which allows a person to stay in the U.S. instead of being deported to a country they left in fear.
An example of asylum is a woman fleeing from Afghanistan seeking asylum in the U.S. because she feels she might be killed if she returns back.
Asylum is migration for people are leaving their countries in fear and are seeking a safer place to live.
Documented Immigrant
Documented immigrants migrate from another country to the U.S with proper records and identification.
An example of a documented immigrant is a man leaving Mexico and coming to the U.S. with proper files about identification so he can get into and remain living in the U.S.
Definition - An immigrant arriving in the U.S who has proper records and identification for admission.
Undocumented Immigrants
An example of an undocumented immigrant is a woman who entered a country illegally without proper records.
Undocumented immigrants are in the migration category because people are moving from one country to another with intention of settling.
