Word Choice - Underweight
Definition - A word to refer to a person who is very skinny.
Connotations - Malnourished, Sick, Very Skinny, Small, Light
Impact - Alerts the readers brain to the fact that the character is very skinny.
Denotation - A term which is supposed to refer to a body mass index of less than 18.5 or simply being in a healthy weight range but is overused to categorize what seems like thin people in general.
