- - - - Every time you meet somebody new, most of the time they notice it and then you have to explain -- I have to explain what happened to my hands.
      - I don't take it personally at all, but my friends and teammates always make fun of my hands.
        
        Embracing it is important -- it taught me to not take certain things seriously.
        
        I used to think a lot about "what if I didn't have messed hands, everything would be so much easier." But that was a waste of time, and it made everything worse.
        
        It taught me that spending time wishing to have normal hands is completely pointless and useless because it's something you can't change.
- - - - I've been worrying a lot about what if things don't turn out how I want them to turn out? What if things don't turn out with my major? Things in the future are things that you don't know, and worrying about those things does nothing apart from making you feel worse. What's important is to change what you can change right now.
