Defining the Problem:
Healthcare workers are burning out and has only worsened post pandemic
SOURCE OF PROBLEM:
This issue stems from inadequate support from management, being understaffed and overworked (Addressing Healthcare Burnout, 2022).
LEARNING GOAL:
To help provide guidance and resources to healthcare workers feeling burnt out and show the negative impacts this can have if this issue is not addressed
LOCATION AND DATE:
Nursing home facility, TBD
TASKS TO BE INSTRUCTED:
Learners will give input of their own experiences, learners will be taught about the issue, why it's important to address, how to tackle the issue, learners will work in groups

TARGET POPULATION:
Healthcare workers and Healthcare management
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
At the end of the presentation participants will learn how to establish boundaries relating to their mental health to overcome burnout
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Participants will develop 5 ways to manage burnout by the end of the presentation to integrate into their work environment
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
In groups participants will organize a 5 minute skit of a life situation and show how to handle that situation
HOW WILL THIS BE ACHIEVED?
I will be working closely with my mentor to set up time/place as well as communicating/ making fliers for this event
DEVELOPMENT
HOW TO ACCOMPLISH LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Create questionnaires to fill before and after presentation, such as survey questions, show videos, allow participants to speak of their experiences, have participants create small groups

I will be using a PowerPoint presentation to present my findings
IMPLEMNTATION
TRAINING AND PARTICIPATION:
This presentation will be learner centered and very engaging with the audience as I feel it fits best to prepare them to address this issue in the future.
The videos and questionnaires I provide will give insight of the negative effects this issue has on workers and the overall health community
The questionnaires will have an overall minimum and maximum score to see "burnout" levels
Group participation will make it easier for learners to be engaged in their thought process'
EVALUATION
Providing group exercises can help with engagement and understanding of material
Competing another questionnaire after presentation is over that will be more like a survey asking if this presentation was affective, what they learned, what could have been better
I will be constantly updating this mind map until I feel it is up to par and make it enjoyable and find ways to keep me from not getting off track
