Unit 3, 3.1 : flight structures - Coggle Diagram
Unit 3
-
3.2 Forces Of Flight
-
Lift
To overcome the weight force, airplanes generate
an opposing force called lift.
-
Drag
As the airplane moves through the air, there is another aerodynamic force present. The air resists the motion of the aircraft and the resistance force is called drag.
-
Trust
To overcome drag, airplanes use a propulsion
system to generate a force called thrust.

3.1 : flight structures
single rotor
The single rotor has a giant rotor it uses to get in the air can cover more area faster and fly higher.
-
-
fixed wing
has an engine in front that pulls it along and and uses wings fixed in position to get lift and fly.
-
multi rotor
use more than 3 rotors to get into the air can have more than for all the way up to 8 and can be coaxial meaning rotors on the top and bottom of the motor
