This was denied in the second bail application

He breached his bail conditions several times and wrote bizarre letters to his former mistress and other family friends

Now they are saying she has to be released in order to take care of the minor child and she is perfectly fine

Assertions that Mrs Petersen had severe mental issues

Court said there were other people to take care of the child - caregiver

She was refused bail the first time

Denied bail

Taliep Petersen, an entertainer, was murdered by his wife Najwa Petersen

Was convicted

Bail revoked for stalking the state witnesses

Showed no remorse

He also asked a former colleague to testify and say that he had been in a meeting since 8:30

He was out on R50 000 bail pending a pre-trial hearing

He also asked a friend for sex through salacious emails

Arrested for intimidating witnesses

He was forced to pay another R25 000 after his first violation of the rules

He breached his bail conditions (contacted state witnesses)

He was then put in jail

Blunt force trauma to the head killed her

His initial bail conditions put him under house arrest where he cold only go shopping once a week and go to church on a Sunday, visit a medical practitioner in case of an emergency and travel to meet with his lawyers, he was also ordered to cede all his communication devices and report, daily, to the police and investigating officer

Packham was accused of murdering his wife and trying to defeat the ends of justice by setting her car and body alight

He had to report to the Diep River Police station every day and notify his investigating officer every time he leaves and returns home, his former mistress said he came to bring her flowers at work
