Types
- Relapsing Remitting (RRMS): flare ups of the neurological symptoms aka relapses. Bouts in months and years- leaves residual disability
- Primary Progressive (PP): One constant attack, steady progression
- Progressive Relapsing (PR): Constant attack, disability happens faster
- Secondary Progressive (SP): Immune attack is constant, slow but steady decline in function.
- Clinically Isolated Syndrome (CIS): one single episode of neurological symptom (i.e numbness, visual disturbance)
