Asylum: Asylum is protection granted to refugees that have been forced out of their countries. Asylum is connected to Migration because it's the movement of people.
Ukraine: Ukraine is a country in Europe. I connected this to Asylum because currently there are tons of people seeking asylum from Ukraine.
IDP: An IDP is an internally displaced person who is unsettled by political unrest in their country. This is connected to Ukraine because currently there are a ton of IDP's there because of the war.
Refugee: A refugee is someone who is fleeing their country due to political unrest, war, or bad infrastructure. This is connected to migration because it's someone moving and seeking refuge.
Documented Immigrant: A document immigrant is someone that has legally immigrated to a country. This is connected to migration because it's the movement of people who are usually emigrating for work or school.
Undocumented Immigrant: Undocumented immigrants are people that immigrated to a country illegally. I connected this to Documented Immigrants because it's the polar opposite. .
Brain Drain: Brain Drain is when the more highly educated people leave their country and migrate elsewhere. This is connected to Documented Immigrants because usually everyone who leaves is a documented immigrant.
Immigrant: An immigrant is a person who permanently leaves their country. This is connected to Migration because it's the movement of people.
Emigrant: An immigrant is someone who immigrates to another country for a certain amount of time. This is connected to Immigrant because it's people moving for different amount of times.
Urbanization
Carrying Capacity: Carrying capacity is the maximum number of people a single environment can support. This is connected to urbanization because you need to consider this before trying to urbanize it.
Population Density: Population density is an average of how many people live in a specific measured area. This is connected to carrying capacity because this weighs in a lot on the carrying capacity.
Primate City: A primate city is a city that is 2x larger then the next largest city in their country. This is connected to megacity's because usually these cities are some of the biggest mega cities.

Megacity: A megacity is a city that has 10 million or more people in it. This is connected to carrying capacity because these cities have a very high carrying capacity.
Urban Planning: Urban planning is the process of planning and building infrastructure. This is connected to Urbanization because this is one of the main factors that takes place when anything is urbanized.
Gentrification: Gentrification is when a poorer city is changed by weather people moving in. This is connected to urban planning because usually after this occurs a ton of urban planning occurs.
Favela: A favela is a poorer region or slum that is located in Brazil. This is connected to urban planning because there is no government to do urban planning so the people have to do it themselves.
Vancouver: Vancouver is a city in Canada. It is connected to gentrification because that has occurred in the city over the last decade.
Sustainable Cities: Sustainable cities are cities that have improved their technology and made it better for the environment. This is connected to Vancouver because it is partially a sustainable city.
Scarcity: Scarcity is how much there is of a certain material. This is connected to carrying capacity because this is one of the main factors that will determine the carrying capacity.

Belt and Road Initiative: The Belt and Road initiative is China who is fixing peoples infrastructure and making trade routes in less developed countries.
Globalization: Globalization is when companies or governments expand their global influence. This is connected to the Belt and Road initiative because it is an example of globalization.
Global Supply Chain: Global supply chain is how much of a certain product is being produced globally. This is connected to the Belt and Road Initiative because it's a way for China to make it easier to produce things.
Ivory Coast: Ivory Coast is a country in Africa that is known to produce a ton of chocolate. This is connected to the Global Supply Chain because Ivory Coast produces the majority of the worlds supply chain of chocolate.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the process of building roads, buildings, and having a better economy. This is connected to the Belt and Road initiative because the main aim of that project is to improve other countries infrastructure.
Comparaitve Advantage: Comparative Advantage is where a country is better equipped to make a certain product. This is connected to Global Supply Chain because countries that have comparative advantage usually control the global supply chain of that certain product.
Losers from Globalization: Losers of globalization are people who's lives have gotten worse because of globalization: This is connected to globalization because it's one of the main effects of it.
Winners from Globalization: Winners of globalization are people who's lives have gotten better because of globalization. This is also another effect of globalization.
Creative Destruction: Creative Destruction is when the government or company destroys a piece of infrastructure and builds it back better. This is connected to infrastructure because it's the process of improving it.
