Good Communication Skills
What they are?
Is the ability of communicate a message clearly, and in a way which will achieve the result you want.
Important aspects to consider:
An important communication should be plan, so you will be sure that the message is clear.
It is important to consider the impact of your message on the reader or listener.
It is also important to set the right voice tone while communicating.
A good communication is always warm, friendly, and showing respect for the other person.
Being a good listener is just as important being a good speaker. It is vital to always pay attention to what the other person is saying.
Why are they important?
Good communication skills are important throughout life
Good communicators tend to have better relationships with friends and peers, because they are able to sort out any misunderstandings quickly and effectively.
Having good communication skills will be essential for future jobs.
Those with excellent communication skills will be in the best place to do well in life.
Challenges and Solutions
The biggest challenge nowadays is that students are often more comfortable with written communication.
All types of communications are important, but we need to ensure that our students are to communicate effectively and appropriately in a way variety of ways.
It is important to show to the students good models, and we need to do three key things:

Notice and analyze the skills and language needed to communicate effectively in all the ways.

. Give them the opportunity to practice and develop skills and language.
3.
Give them helpful and encouraging feedback as they progress.
How to teach them?
Communication skills can be divided in four sections:
physical, cognitive, linguistic, and social emotional.
Physically
students need to understand the importance of body language and how to communicate and command interest and attention.
Cognitively
we can teach them those skills as how to build a compelling and logical argument or how to be persuasive.
Linguistically
we can make sure that they have the language they need to communicate effectively in any given situation, taking into account the relationship between speakers.
Emotionally
we can help them to develop the social and emotional skills they need to build good relationships, use empathy, be appropriately self-critical, and willing to learn.
Key things to remember
In order to develop good communication skills, students need:
