UAS1 Coggle Diagram
Structures Of A UAS
The homemade wing is a flying wing UAS but made with home found materials/inexpensive. Reference the flying wing for flight patterns. These require a large amount of testing to fly because of the inconsistency of making these by hand cause it to have a really horrid center of gravity and stabilization.
-
The blended wing is extremely similar to the flying wing in the way of it having no identifiable fuselage but it has a higher payload capability because of its more bulbous front side.
-
The helicopter is a variant of the multirotor. These are more dangerous due to the fact that the rotors have larger blades and more torque behind them. The helicopter also requires more maintenance because it has several gears and both bearing and moving parts.
The flying wing is a UAS with no distinctive/identifiable fuselage. Taking off in this type of UAS is extremely difficult and has a high chance of Yaw wobbling. The center of gravity on this UAS has to be tuned exactly or when taking off or in flight it will either nosedive or stall.
Forces of Flight
-
Lift
Lift is used to overcome weight. It acts perpendicular to flight direction through a center point called the Center of Pressure.
-
Drag
Drag is a force that acts in the opposite direction of the aircrafts movement. I acts through a single point called "drag magnitude"
