English is nowadays also spreat through influential media(e.g. BBC)

Even though many languages have taken English words and used them in their own vocabularies, English has done the very same
English has multiple loanwords such as kindergarten, algebra and karaoke
Another language may describe certain meanings and ideas better , which is why language borrowing happens
English is thought to be more fashionable, which is why it may replace some words that already existed in the other language and have the same meaning

two cultures dividing or separating, and communicating very little or not at all
Register
formality or informality of a language
Colloquialism
sayings or features that are more used in informal than formal situations(casual communication)
a word or phrase that is not formal or literary and is used in ordinary or familiar conversation
Creole
when newer generations get pidgin passed on to them and they develop it into a language that can be used in any possible situation, and not only for trade for example
Code-switching
person switching dialects in order to become more understood by someone. Code switching depends on who the person is talking to and the situation the person is in and also what they are trying to achieve with the conversation

historical reasons
Historically people living in the southern USA have British ancestry who have emigrated from the British Isles and that is why they have an accent

regional reasons
People needed a language that expressed their independence and their regional identity but also a language that connected them to the English Empire
accents and dialects were born
Pidgins or improvised languages were invented to make trade and such economical communication easier and faster, as not all countries spoke perfect english or didn’t have the resources to learn proper english
