Countries around the world take part in international organisations. They work together to encourage political and economic cooperation within particular regions of the world.

International Monetary Fund , prevent financial crises and to encourage economic stability. To achieve this aim, it advises governments on economic matters and gives loans to member countries
World Bank,main activity is to provide loans to governments so that they can carry out reform projects and programmes in their countries.

G7 nations hold 48.2% of the votes, meaning that they can be sure that any decision will be in their favour. The World Bank works in the same way as the IMF. The United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and France together hold 36.7% of the votes, while the 24 African countries only have a total of 2.01%.
