Formative:Definition: used to assess students learning in a informal way and address any topics that might have misconceptions

Student Polls: Students are able too compare what their knowledge to questions and get opinions on what they think the answer should be.

Interm/Benchmark: Defintion: used to assess students to see if they are on track to mack grade level:

Map Testing: Used to assess student growth throughout the year. This questions become more advanced as the students learn.
Diagnostic: Definition: A form of Pretest to assess how much a student knows and what needs to be reviewed.
Examples:Class Survey, Students can check or mark and option off to easily assess knowledge
Anticipation Guides: Students can generate ideas about what they are going to learn and after learning see if they have found out any new information.
Performance: Definition: students are required to perform a task to show level of knowledge.
Examples: Students create a one pager full of their knowledge they have learned.
Oral Presentation: Students will have to work alone or with a group to come up with a presentation idea and slides and perform the presentation.
