Formative
Quickwrite: is a quick way to make sure your students are on the right path by answering a short answer question
One pager: a way for students to quickly show what they they have learned through drawing their own reflexion of the lesson on one page
Definition: an assessment that gathers evidence of student learning to provide feedback and adjust instruction strategies to to enhance student achievement
Performance
Definition: an assessment that is more hands on or verbal, rather than taking a test
Speech: This will be more of a debate speech on a certain topic where students will play a roe in defending a certain part of history by using argumentative literacy techniques.
Presentation: This is be your regular presentation, where students get the chance to present infant of peer over a given topic or subject

Summative
Definition: an assessment that is more lengthy, such as a test form, to measure the students overall learning of a unit
Traditional Exam: this is going to be your traditional multiple choice test to measure student learning over unit

Interim/Benchmark
Definition: an assessment that determines whether or not a students learning aligns with the schools or district standards
STAAR Test: This will be your state stardard test that students must pass before moving on to the next grade level
SAT/ACT: This will be your nation side standard test, that students will use to get into college
Diagnostic
Definition: an assessment that is used for the teachers purposes, on how to meet the needs of students and help them reach their learning capabilities
Goal Achievement Chart: this will be made at the beginning of the school year for students to set their personal grade goal and a class one as a whole

Classroom Observation: This will be were an outside teacher will observe the classroom for a week to see how well students are paying attention, and how well the teacher is keeping the students engaged
